With an area of 243 Km2 and a population of 1.8 million, Kuala Lumper is quite a sizeable city. So where are the best places to stay on your visit?

Bukit Bintang is one of the most popular areas to stay in because of the close proximity to hotels, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, MRT rail network and parks. Bukit Bintang also hosts the famous Jalan Alor street food restaurants, where you can dine outside whilst sampling cuisine from China, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand and the middle east.

Kuala Lumpur City Centre or KLCC is another popular area and is close to the Petronas Towers and KLCC Park area.

If you are looking for somewhere quieter to stay, then you may prefer the KL Sentral and Lake Gardens area, which is close to the Perdana Botanical Gardens and Bird Park.
